All-Purpose Herb Marinade
Bright, garlicky, and perfect for anything
Makes about 1 cup | Use for up to 2 lbs of protein or vegetables

Ingredients

  • ½ cup olive oil

  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)

  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • ½ tsp honey (optional)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper

  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
1. Mix it up
Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl or shake in a jar until fully combined.

2. Marinate
Pour over your protein or vegetables in a sealed bag or container.

  • Meat & poultry: marinate 1 hour to overnight

  • Fish & seafood: 15–30 minutes

  • Vegetables: 30 minutes to 1 hour

3. Cook as you like
Grill, roast, sear, or sauté — this marinade works with nearly everything.

  • Double the batch and save half to drizzle over after cooking.
