Herbed Compound Butter
A flavorful finishing touch for steaks, vegetables, bread, or roasted anything.

Ingredients:
1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tbsp chopped chives
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
½ tsp lemon zest
1 small garlic clove, finely grated or minced
Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients until well combined.

  2. Taste and adjust salt, herbs, or lemon zest as desired.

  3. Scoop onto parchment or plastic wrap, roll into a log, and twist ends to seal.

  4. Chill for at least 1 hour until firm.

To Use:
– Slice medallions over hot grilled meats, fish, or vegetables.
– Spread on warm bread or swirl into cooked rice, pasta, or potatoes.
– Keeps in the fridge up to 1 week or freeze up to 3 months.
